Feeling the 1960s this morning, Lila listened to some Beach Boys’ Sloop John B, followed by Good Vibrations, and classic Mamas and Papas, Monday, Monday. Wishing everyone a groovy Monday!
The Last Day of the Weekend
Yesterday Ian and Lila were able to get their fish/shrimp tacos and took a nice walk; however, the work efficiency just wasn’t there. Today needs to be a hard work day with a small break for dinner.
New Day
This will be a huge weekend for Lila to finish up a lot of things on which she’s been working. One of Ian’s assignments has ended and he will be working to ramp up for the other one. In between work, they should find time for a walk and some fish/shrimp tacos!
On a Walk
Lila went for a walk yesterday to run errands. On her way she smelled the lovely scent from roses, saw a squirrel and this beautiful view down the street. Take time to savor today! Happy Friday!
Peace
Exhaustion is setting in seriously with Ian and Lila. Only two more days to get through!
Midsummer Dreams
With all the things going on lately, Lila has been dreaming of a vacation.

Currently Ian works two assignments and Lila pushes to finish her project before deadline, so each night they fall into bed exhausted. “It’s only __ more days,” Ian says with tired determination.

L.A. Staircases
Last year Lila went on a staircase walk hosted by the Secret Stairs author and had fun exploring the hills around Silver Lake. She also joined a night hike in Griffith Park, where she saw wildlife and cool nighttime city views near Griffith Observatory. L.A. is a great place to go on walks!
