Home Again

Ian and Lila are back from their adventure.  Ian went to work today only to find his desk covered in assorted paperwork. Lila also has a stack of work to wade through. For some post-work relaxation, they walked over to the Casbah Café, a Moroccan themed coffee/tea house in Silver Lake.

Lila got her favorite Moroccan mint tea, while Ian went with English breakfast tea. It was nice for them to relax together.

Things have been incredibly busy, and time just seems to slide past. Ian and Lila’s work continues to hit critical levels for things having to be done. Sleep is greatly to be desired, but things need to happen. Lila will finish up the final part of her project today, while Ian has work and meetings.

Coffee, tea, and conversation

One of Ian’s and Lila’s favorite places to catch a movie is at the Vista Theatre in Los Feliz, a 1920s vintage theater with a cool Egyptian theme and great atmosphere. This Saturday they decided to walk over and take in an evening showing of the new Simon Pegg movie, The World’s End.

After watching the movie, Ian and Lila strolled down Sunset Boulevard to Intelligentsia Coffee in Silver Lake, where Ian selected Decaf Librarian’s Blend coffee and Lila chose Organic Golden Needles black tea. Sitting on the patio enjoying a pleasant conversation and sipping their drinks provided a perfect way to end the day.
